Giving eDelivery Consent
The IRS allows businesses to provide electronic copies of forms 1098, 1099, W-2, 3921, 5498, ACA series, and 1042-S instead of paper copies. If a written statement (Copy B) is required, it may also be delivered electronically.
An electronic vendor statement is provided via email or through xForce, where the vendors can download the statement. This eliminates the need to mail a paper copy.
According to IRS guidelines, vendors must consent to receive electronic statements; otherwise, a paper copy must be provided.
A payer onboarded in Tax1099 and Zenwork Payments will be able to send vendors eDelivery consent requests and submit tax forms.
